Modular solution for your operational needs
Senator Counter-UAS
The Senator Counter-UAS Vehicle is a purpose-built mobile platform for detecting, tracking and neutralizing uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) threats. It builds on Roshel’s combat-proven Senator MRAP and is designed, engineered and manufactured at Roshel’s vertically integrated facility in Ontario. This fully Canadian-made solution integrates world-class CUAS sensors and effectors to defend against swarms, long-range reconnaissance drones and weaponized UAS. This integration underscores Roshel’s reputation for survivability, adaptability and reliability under the most demanding battlefield conditions.
Protection features include STANAG 4569 AEP 55 Level 2 ballistic and Level 3 blast certification, a bolted armored capsule for rapid maintenance and mine-protected seating. The vehicle is fully interoperable with NATO command-and-control networks and supports joint missions through advanced sensor fusion and mesh-networked autonomy. Its open architecture allows future upgrades and rapid integration of additional sensors or counter-drone effectors.
Onboard, best-in-class CUAS sensors detect and identify aerial threats at extended ranges; once a target is confirmed, the system can employ kinetic or non-kinetic countermeasures. Proven in both static and fixed-site deployments, this mobile configuration lets commanders maintain perimeter security on the move and redeploy rapidly as threat environments evolve.
Built on a heavy-duty Ford F-series commercial chassis, the vehicle offers cost-effective global logistics, readily available parts and a dependable drivetrain. High-ground clearance, four-wheel drive and a reinforced suspension deliver efficient off-road performance. Crew configurations range from three to five personnel with a modular payload deck supporting up to 3500 kg. With a production capacity of 140 units per month, Roshel guarantees rapid order fulfillment at any scale. Fully compliant with NATO standards, the Senator Counter-UAS Vehicle exemplifies Roshel’s commitment to meeting modern tactical and logistical demands.
