Roshel and ST Engineering Announce Strategic Agreement to Produce ExtremV Vehicles in Canada for Arctic Operations

Protecting the Arctic is a strategic priority for Canada. As climate change reshapes the region and global interest intensifies, it is more important than ever to ensure that our northern territories are equipped, secure and resilient.

At CANSEC 2025, Roshel signed an exclusive agreement with ST Engineering to produce the ExtremV vehicle in Canada. This platform, designed for extreme weather and complex terrain, is a key candidate for the Domestic Arctic Mobility Enhancement (DAME) program. With proven performance across snow, ice and water, the ExtremV will enhance operational capabilities for military and emergency response teams across Canada’s Arctic.

Roshel will lead domestic production and will actively engage with Indigenous-owned companies to support key elements of the program. Inclusion of Indigenous partners is a vital part of our approach to building long-term, locally rooted capabilities in Canada’s North.

This partnership is not just about mobility. It is about building Canadian content, creating jobs, and ensuring that the equipment we deploy in critical regions is developed by those who understand the operational environment best.

We urge continued support for Canadian defense manufacturing and northern engagement. A strong Arctic presence starts with a strong domestic industry.
